Horbury and District Historical Society
Horbury and District Historical Society was founded in 2000 to give people with an interest in Historical matters an opportunity to meet for talks, discussions and visits.
The season runs from September to June and includes talks on local subjects, social and general history, together with presentations by some of the members and finishing with a walk to visit local places of interest.
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Salvation Army Church and Community Centre, Peel Street, Horbury, WF4 5AN
The current annual subscription is £10.00. Visitors and guests are always welcome for a charge of £2.50 each meeting. Enquiries and further information 01924 271710

**Please note that the September meeting is in the St. Peter’s Church Parish Room. Hopefully the Group will be back in the Salvation Army premises in October.
