*Portraits of Horbury* Call to all local businesses!!!
An exciting photographic project is currently under way in which local photographer and businessman Bav Mistry is creating a social documentary and portraiture of the people and the businesses in and around the Horbury area.
Bav said "I’m building a body of work about the area where I live as whilst there are plenty of old photos, there does not seem to be any current document of the new and established businesses, communities and groups in Horbury."
Selected images will be gifted so that they can be used on the new Horbury village website and Facebook page to highlight and promote the vibrancy of the people and businesses of Horbury.
Going forward we will be hoping to highlight a “Business of the Month” which will include a selection of images of the business and the retailers at work and a small write up.
We are hoping there will eventually be enough images for an exhibition or even a photobook.
