Horbury Library - The Secret Garden
Horbury Library has now completed the Secret Garden landscaping to enhance the library gardens. With the support of the Friends of Horbury Library, and the fantastic talents of the landscape gardener, Rachel Moorhouse, library staff watched as the grounds were transformed into a wonderful Secret Garden, complete with story area, jungle planted borders and timber seats nestling amongst raised beds.

Staff are now working to involve community groups, schools and other agencies to help maintain and add to the newly created garden.

Special thanks must go to WMDC Parks and Public Realm and Wakefield Libraries for their support with the project.

For further information, please contact library staff on 01924 303060. [more]
